Entertainer of the year!

Last night, we just happened to catch some of the CMA awards because Modern Family was supposed to be on! We were really bummed about that! But, we got to hear some Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Chris Daughtry and Taylor Swift- nothing wrong with that!

The big shocker was Entertainer of the Year which went to Taylor Swift! She was so happy and cute- isn't she always? Kylie and I love Taylor Swift and have most of her songs on our ipod. Every once in a while, I can hear Kylie singing a Taylor Swift song in her room. It's so cute to hear her going to town on a song. I did that same thing when I was her age! I wonder how many times my parents heard me singing my heart out in my room. ha!

You can see all three of Taylor's wins last night HERE! Yes, she won 4 awards. One of them wasn't televised. And she's 19 years old! Incredible. The funny thing is that every other person (male) in the Entertainer of the Year category let her open up for them in concert this year. ha! George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, and Keith Urban.

So, I missed her winning last night because I think I changed the channel to the Real World/Road Rules Challenge- how old am I? But I caught it this morning on youtube. Of course, I cried tears of happiness right along with her! Then I remembered when she sang for the first time at the ACM awards. She sang her new song, "Tim McGraw" and when she went out in the audience and sang it to him and Faith Hill, I cried so hard! I loved that she was having a moment with them. Tim was so gracious and Faith was just nodding her head the whole time. It was a great moment.

So, Taylor has had some moments, now. From Tim McGraw to Kanye to Entertainer of the Year. What a lucky girl! I hope she stays a great role model and follows her dreams at the same time.

Yay Taylor - my favorite song of hers is, "The Best Day" it makes me cry every time and I hope Lauren feels like that about me when she is older! I also hope she stays the great role model she is and doesn't let Hollywood lure her!!!

Oh my gosh! Love that you still watch the MTV Real World shows. I still do, too! I keep waiting to grow out of them and it doesn't seem to happen. Shoot me an email if you want to grab coffee sometime over the next few weeks!
